The Flooded Engine
“The dying was the car's. The drowning was yours.”
Bad things happened to you, and that part is not your fault. Where you start was decided for you. Where you stop was not.

WORK ORDER 1
“The dying was the car's. The drowning was yours.”
Bad things happened to you, and that part is not your fault. Where you start was decided for you. Where you stop was not.
WORK ORDER 2
“Parked isn't safe. Parked is just slow.”
A chance you never use goes bad, the same as a truck nobody drives. Keeping it safe in a drawer is how you lose it.
WORK ORDER 3
“One of them happens to you. The other one you pick up.”

WORK ORDER 4
“Her rent was her job. Your degree is yours.”
Help with what is truly yours to help with. Put down the jobs nobody ever gave you. Carrying everything is not love. It is just heavy.
WORK ORDER 5
“Good job means I own the scale. That was yours means you do.”
You do not need a gold star from anybody. The work you did is already yours, whether or not the room claps.
WORK ORDER 6
“A climber drops the ladder back down. A leaver pulls it up.”
Getting out is not the win. Reaching back is. You do not have to be special. You have to be useful to somebody you can actually reach.
